Where To Stay in Denver
This past week we were invited to stay at the Gaylord Resort of the Rockies. Located in Aurora about 10 minuets away from the Denver International Airport, its the perfect place for your next visit to Colorado or your next business trip because their convention center is far beyond anything I have ever seen.

NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT FOOD
The Gaylord is a luxury resort with all the amenities you could ever want. There are a total of 8 restaurants on site, plus a Starbucks coffee located in the Market Place where you can find snacks and drinks for purchase. Our favorite thing we ate was the Giant pretzel and cheese sauce, the kids absolutely loved it! Its the biggest soft pretzel we have ever seen. Matt and I loved their chopped salads with grilled chicken and the kids also loved the grilled cheese served pool side.

OUR FAMILY ROOM
As a family of 5 we stayed in the Deluxe Family King Room which featured a king size bed as well as bunk beds for the kids with their own T.V. Our room had a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and double sinks. We also loved that we had a closet and a mini fridge to keep our food cold.

POOLS, WATER SLIDES, & LAZY RIVERS OH MY!
Now onto the really fun stuff. The Arapahoe Springs Pools are AMAZING! First lets start with the outdoor pools. There is a giant lazy river that was a huge hit with our family. I mean who doesn’t love floating around in an inner tube in the perfect water temp? Next is the stunning infinity pool with a water slide that is surrounded with beautiful cabanas that you can rent for the day. We had a cabana on our second day and lets just say my husband and I are hooked. The service was impeccable and we could pull curtains to have privacy to take a nap in the shade or put the t.v. on and take a break from the sun.

Indoor Water Fun
The indoor water area has something for everyone. It includes a lap pool, jacuzzi, splash pad, 2 water slides (and yes I did go down them), and a whirl pool. Our kids loved playing with all of the water features in the indoor area, so did mom and dad! It was the perfect place to our last swimming in before school starts next week.

Family Fun Activities
The pool areas would have been enough for me but there is even more at the Gaylord Resort of the Rockies. Tennis courts, mini golf, basketball courts an indoor arcade, a fully stocked gym and a luxurious spa with a wide menu of options to help you wind down. The resort also also has daily family activities scheduled such as a scavenger hunt, early morning yoga, and exotic animals on the weekend.

The Perfect End To Summer
As soon as you walk onto the resort you feel like you are in another world surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows with views of the Rockies, elegant decor, cascading indoor waterfalls, and wonderful service with staff that have the answer to all of your questions. We happen to be blessed with only living 50 minuets away from the Gaylord Resort so there is no question in our minds that we will be returning very soon!
